Tanusree Sharma
she/her/hers
Assistant Professor · Penn State

Tanusree works at the intersection of security, AI, and HCI. She studies people's safety concerns, decision-making behaviors, and the role of power dynamics in innovation across the AI development lifecycle — addressing complex privacy and safety challenges in AI, and leveraging AI's capabilities to solve long-standing privacy issues.

Aljawharah Aljahrani
she/her/hers
PhD Student (Scholarship) · Penn State

Aljawharah is a first-year PhD student at Penn State, studying the intersection of privacy, safety, and HCI, with a particular focus on how vulnerable populations such as children interact with and are affected by generative AI. She is currently working on co-design research with parents and children across cross-cultural contexts (US, EU, and Bangladesh) to develop inclusive digital safety solutions for GenAI.
